Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! This has been a whirlwind of a week over here & we are ready for the weekend. Who isn’t?! We will be working hard to finish our Home Depot projects, celebrating our SIX year wedding anniversary with a fun night out, and doing a little tailgating & cheering on the Bears while they are in town playing the Falcons. Fall is always full of so much fun.
I am so excited to share another fun collaboration with my friend Katie’s Etsy shop, we now have I Put A Spell On You shirts for both mamas & minis!! This design came from my most recent Halloween chalkboard, printed in gold foil on the softest black & charcoal shirts (and onesies)! There will be preorders taken until Monday to ship in time for Halloween. I hope you love them!!! We met our friends at the park this morning so the kiddos could play (and Eloise could lay…) so the girls rocked their new shirts. I’m just a little bit obsessed with them! When I told Harper what her shirt said when I wanted to take her picture, she started singing the words “now you’re mine! mine! mineeee!” Eloise appears to be smitten by her vocals! πŸ˜‰

You know we love festive treats, especially with something so easy that Harper can help me with. We made Ghost dipped pretzels the other afternoon while Eloise was napping & they turned out so cute. I made a few, then Harper made the rest. She had so much fun!! These would make such cute party favors or even just treats to share with friends. If you break the pretzel rod to shorten them a bit (then dip that end) you can fit a few in a wide mouth mason jar, add a little BOO treat tag & you’re good to go!

With only three weeks left until Halloween, we finally got around to putting out the rest of our decorations. Have you ever attempted spider-webbing with a toddler as your helper? It was a hilarious disaster. She was obsessed with it so we had to “fider web” her dresser in her room. I had a canvas printed of one of my favorite prints in my shop, it is super easy to have these made from the digital files. All you have to do is upload them to a canvas printer, select the size you want (this is 16×20) & select for the borders to be stretched, so that all of the print will be on the front of the canvas.

So many fun finds this week, I adore this little swing jacket & love that it is on sale this week. Not only will it be amazing all winter long, but this color coat always reminds me of Alison in Hocus Pocus! πŸ˜‰
Do you remember the gold stocking cap that I bought for Harper? I guess I always put it on Eloise, but it sold out quick & I was hoping to get a second one. I came across another one that is very similar here & I had to grab it for Eloise. I love this color so much!!

This Halloween Party Kit is so festive, perfect for a party or even a little breakfast/brunch celebration. You can get each piece separate, my favorite is the cookie cutters, which would be perfect for pancake making! We do this every year with another family, I always look forward to putting a jack-o-lantern face on a pitcher of orange juice! The little cupcake picks would also be cute in donuts or waffles. Yum!

And of course, what is Friday Favorites awithout a drink recipe? I saw this recipe for Apple Cider Sangria & can’t wait to try it! I have been loving Stella Cidre lately, have you had it? I have always loved apple flavored things, so a little alcoholic apple juice is right up my alley!

Wishing you all a fun + festive Fall weekend!! XO

I realize this post is super old but I had to tell you. Carter's totally ripped off your design. I saw it on their website and knew you had the exact same one with one word changed. http://www.carters.com/carters-baby-girl-halloween-shop/V_119G115.html?cgid=carters-baby-girl-halloween-shop&dwvar_V__119G115_color=Color&dwvar_V__119G115_size=12M#navID=header&start=12&cgid=carters-baby-girl-halloween-shop
