7 Month Bump

Chalkboard bumpdates. I think this is the definition of ain’t nobody got time for that. Pretty much every other aspect of working/blogging is doable for me except making chalkboards, as there are four tiny hands that just love to erase whatever I have made or add their own artwork to it. Not to mention, time. is. flying. I cannot believe next month is already the end of my pregnancy! I’m not even going to lie, I have really enjoyed being pregnant this time & will miss my baby bump tremendously.
Moving right along, let’s title this chalkboard “lollipops for everyone if you all just give me two minutes to take this picture.”

How far along: 31 weeks (7 month photo taken at the end of April, closer to 30 weeks)
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 18+ lbs.
Maternity clothes: Wearing one of my favorite dresses EVER, this Isabella Oliver halter dress is soooo comfortable, I have been wearing it non stop! I love the color & it leaves plenty of room for my belly to grow over the next two months! I have almost fully given up on regular clothes & have really been embracing maternity style this pregnancy, which I am sure is one of the reasons it has been so much more enjoyable!
Sleep: Still sleeping great, minus Eloise continuing to wake up once or twice a night. Will it ever end? I am convinced she will still be waking up just as often as the newborn come July.
Best moment this month: Celebrating Eloise’s first birthday & my 29th birthday! Embracing the mom van & getting started on the baby’s nursery. We are moving right along y’all! πŸ™‚
Worst moment this month: Aside from the scary car wreck, it has been a pretty great month!
Miss anything: I have definitely been pouting about not being able to drink a margarita on Cinco de Mayo or a large pour of wine when the kids are driving me bonkers. But mostly, missing being able to do a lot of stuff with the girls & keep up all day with their endless energy. They’ll both be shocked one day when I can be the one playing airplane or giving them horsey rides around the house again!
Movement: Big giant alien movements that everyone can see from the outside. Harper just loves it & says “da baby kicked me wite in da hand!”
Cravings: Watermelon, fish tacos, & chocolate chip frozen eggo waffles. And yes, I would definitely eat them all together.
Queasy or sick: Feeling good, minus some super excessive heartburn. Bleh!
Looking forward to: Summer! We have so many fun things planned & I can’t wait to do them all as a new family of FIVE. (also picking a name, because we haven’t even come close to doing that yet.) We can’t wait to meet you baby girl!!!

And because two is better than one, here is my last month’s chalkboard that I missed posting. I hope you forgive me! πŸ™‚ XO

Five Month Bump

I am 24 weeks pregnant now, so technically in my sixth month, and just now getting a chance to share my four & five month chalkboards. I know, get with the program right?! So before I share my six month chalkboard, here are these + a little update!

How far along: 24 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 15+ lbs.
Maternity clothes: Wearing mostly maternity clothes or comfy sweats around the house. Warm weather means lots of dresses, I am still loving my Andie Pants (pictured below) & grabbed a pair of maternity shorts on sale for summer (and most likely for post-baby belly as well).
Sleep: Still sleeping great.
Best moment this month: Celebrating Harper’s 3rd birthday, and even though it was so bittersweet, it really makes me excited to know we have another brand new baby on the way to start all over again with firsts.
Worst moment this month: Feeling overwhelmed as Brandon traveled a ton these last few weeks. I think kids at any age are going to have their challenges, but sometimes all of those challenges consume both kids & the walls definitely feel like they’re closing in! It is a constant struggle to balance parenting, spending time with Brandon when he is home, working, blogging, cleaning, having fun & anything else that is left, and when I think about adding another baby to the mix? My head spins a little. I think month five is always the freak out month, so hoping it will pass!
Miss anything: Things are getting a little uncomfortable over here as the belly is getting bigger, making it hard to climb at the playground with the kids, lean into the tub to give baths, etc. and I definitely miss being able to do that all with ease. I could also really go for a margarita, I blame it on the Mexican food cravings & warm weather.
Movement: Lots of kicks, flips & hiccups!
Cravings: Lemonade, strawberries & Mexican food.
Queasy or sick: Feeling good. Second trimester is where it’s at.
Looking forward to: Excited to get started on baby girl’s nursery, painting & putting together some new furniture. And maybe picking a name one of these days? So far, Harper’s suggestion of Snow White is a front runner. πŸ˜‰

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Eve!! XO

Three Month Bump

Happy Monday morning, friends!!
I am about three and a half months pregnant right now, and although I initially thought I would definitely not do chalkboards this time around, I decided doing them monthly might be manageable. So here it is, month three with baby number three!
Jeweled Sweatshirt (on sale!) // Maternity Tank c/o Blanqi // Boots (old but similar here)

How far along: 15 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 6+ lbs.
Maternity clothes: Ashamed to admit that I mostly still live in leggings, but I have promised myself that this pregnancy I will not just frump around in pajamas for 9 months. I bought two pair of maternity pants, these side panel Andie Pants & a pair of these Citizen of Humanity full panel jeans on ebay. I love them both & they’re so comfortable! Do people actually ever return to regular jeans after wearing maternity? πŸ˜‰
Sleep: I have been sleeping great, aside from one or both of the kids randomly waking up in the middle of the night at least once or twice. It’s not a big deal right now, easy to go give Eloise her paci or Harper her water or snuggle with her for a minute if she is scared, but I think this is going to get harder as the months go on. Getting out of bed during the last few months is never any fun.
Best moment this month: Healthy ultrasounds & finding out the gender! Also, having energy & loving coffee again.
Worst moment this month: The exhaustion over the first few months has been really hard, trying to run around all day with the girls & still keep up with the house/blog/work/etc. is no joke. But I am happy to report that I feel like myself again & we are finding a good balance.
Miss anything: Fitting into all of my jeans/clothes. I also hate random pregnancy food aversions, like when you spend an hour cooking dinner & then all of a sudden you are repulsed by the food and no longer want to eat it. That happened so many times to me over the first trimester & resulted in toast for dinner.
Movement: None yet. If I remember correctly, I felt Eloise move sooner than 15 weeks, so I keep waiting and waiting for this one, hoping for it any day now!
Cravings: Fish, sushi, cucumbers, watermelon, fountain soda, bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches.
Queasy or sick: Surprisingly I have felt really good this pregnancy, hardly any nausea or headaches, unlike my last two pregnancies.
Looking forward to: I guess it isn’t really pregnancy related necessarily, but excited for our trip to Florida next month. Between the cold weather & Brandon’s crazy work schedule, it will be so fun to get away as a family for a few days of fun in the sun!!
