Valentine’s Playlist

Remember the old days of mix tapes & burning playlists onto discs? When Brandon & I were dating in high school, he made me a cd for our first Valentine’s together, and we continued to listen to it for the next ten years or so. I’m not sure where that old cd ended up, but one of the songs on it is on the first Shrek movie, which we watch all the time with the kids. Brings back the sweetest memories! All of that to say, I put together my current Valentine’s playlist, fun to listen to on date night, with the kiddos or if you are hosting a festive brunch or dinner.

I love so many of these songs & will listen to them all year! Such a sucker for a good love song and a romantic comedy. Claire was sick last week & we watched Because I Said So a few times, such a good flick to put you in the Valentine’s Day mood! 🙂

Would love for you to share what songs are your must-haves for Valentine’s Day or what is your wedding/first dance song? I know I’m missing some good ones! Hope you are all having a happy week! XO

Two somewhat cliche songs, but the words in both are so beautiful! Both were artists that my guy told me about six years ago when we started dating and I was in college. We used to listen to them at night together while we texted or talked on the phone.
