Claire’s Room

We have really been trying to stick to the “one room at a time” rule since we moved into our house late last Summer. We finally got around to finishing Claire’s room & I am so excited to share some photos. We started with painting the room, I knew we wanted a soft sage/mint color, and we ended up going with Gray Embrace by Valspar. I am obsessed with the color, and we decided that we are going to use it in our downstairs powder bath that we are tackling this weekend!

Most of her stuff was from her old nursery, we used Ellie’s old crib sheet, a neon heart print that I have had forever but just wasn’t sure where to hang it & added a few new accessories like the fun swan on the wall! I plan to still add a few things to the walls and have a fun pom mobile to hang from the ceiling by the chair, but love how cozy & fun it is, perfect for little Bear Claire!

She loves to stuff her blankets & toys in these baskets and pull them back out again, or just sit on the floor and play with her sound machine for half an hour. As we inch our way closer to two years old, this little girl has just gotten sweeter by the day. And she is looking so much more like Harper lately, don’t you think?!

Hope you enjoyed the room & maybe gained a bit of inspiration for a room in your home – currently craving all the green walls!! Happy Monday!! XO

I love this color! We have a builder white guest room [some day baby room] we want to paint ahead of time. I think we’ll consider this color for that room because it’s neutral enough for the now and could easily be a boy or girl bedroom. Love!

We’re about to move into a new house and it needs a full interior paint job throughout. Would love to hear some of your favorite paint colors! Do you have a specific nice white that you use? They can be so hard for such a seemingly simple shade! 🙂

    Thank you so much,

Where do you change Claire’s diapers? We are transitioning our toddler to a big girl bed and wondering if we need a changing table/chest of drawers anymore to change her diapers.

Anywhere! Our bed, the girls beds, the rug on the floor, etc. Definitely not necessary to have a changing table.
