Game Day Entertaining

The big game is tonight & you know we will make any excuse to celebrate!! Our kids are always super worn out by this time on Sunday evening so we will plan for early baths & bedtime for them so we can host some of our friends & family for food & festivities!!
We are sharing our top three tips for those of you hosting:
1. Keep the food super simple! Nobody wants a huge mess to clean up on a Sunday night, we are opting for ordering pizza and some light apps like wings & popcorn with different toppings! Dips & festive desserts are also great options.
2. Set the scene with a fire in the fireplace, extra seating, a cooler in the living room for convenience & good playlist in the background!
3. If anyone is having a few drinks, vow to be a #DesignatedRider and take an Uber! You know we are always super passionate about partying 😉 but we are also passionate about Uber’s initiative to reduce drinking & driving and keep the roads safe on game day!
Hope you all have had the most fun weekend ever. Time to relax, sit back & enjoy the halftime show. Oh, and the game!

I love the galvanized bowl. It appears that one side is taller than the other which allows for easy access to drinks. Where is it from?

They also surprised US with an Easter egg hunt around the house with recycled Easter eggs filled with hand written notes and coupons to cash in for hugs, compliments, etc. How did we get here?! The girls could hardly sleep Saturday night bursting with excitement to host our friends & neighbors for donuts in the morning, they were up before the sun ready to start setting the tables & rolling dough. For everyone reading this with babies & toddlers, just know that all of those sweet traditions you are creating will make a home in their hearts, and one day they’ll be the ones making the magic for you. 🤍🤍🤍
