Scooby Doo and ‘the Gang’, Ace Ventura (with the tutu!), John Travolta & Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction, any characters from The Princess Bride, the Big Lebowski bowling team (or The Dude – basically pajamas!) and if you have a crafty streak we loved going as painted portraits (Van Gogh and Lichtenstein)!

Not the most original, but I’m doing a fireman and Dalmatian puppy! Hoping to get some great pics of them at my husbands station (he’s a firefighter) since he’s working Halloween and I plan to bring the kiddos to see him!

After many ideas tossed around and unable to work we landed on School of Rock this year. And it will be epic. It’s our boys’ favorite movie and we went to the Broadway show last week at the Fox, so they are pretty pumped!

These are the BEST! My favorite costumes were Cinderella and Gus Gus (my kids) while chad and I were prince charming (aka he showed up in his work clothes just before trick or treating) and I was the Fairy Godmother. When I was in college I showed up as Pippy Longstockings and literally unwrapped a coat hanger from my closet to make my braids stand up! I poked people in the eye with my hair ALL NIGHT LONG! HAHAHA!

So many great ideas! We are superheroes this year as my 4yo son requested. I know the years are limited that he wants to dress up as a group, so I didn’t fight. ?

Easter 2023 🐰 Would like to point out that I di Easter 2023 🐰 Would like to point out that I didn’t find them any cute matching pajamas this year but they took it upon themselves to find some in their closets & dressed accordingly. They also surprised US with an Easter egg hunt around the house with recycled Easter eggs filled with hand written notes and coupons to cash in for hugs, compliments, etc. How did we get here?! The girls could hardly sleep Saturday night bursting with excitement to host our friends & neighbors for donuts in the morning, they were up before the sun ready to start setting the tables & rolling dough. For everyone reading this with babies & toddlers, just know that all of those sweet traditions you are creating will make a home in their hearts, and one day they’ll be the ones making the magic for you. 🤍🤍🤍
