I wanted to share a recap of our January Dinner Party here on the blog so it would be easy to access! Our theme was “Comfy and Cozy are we” and the vibe was dreamy room service in your comfiest attire and our menu was full of comfort food! I opted to use our wedding dishes, linen napkins & my grandmothers silverware. I did small bouquets of flowers over a big centerpiece – like what you’d find on a little room service cart – used some big silver serving pieces I picked up from Pottery Barn. And of course ate by candel light. It was just what we needed in the middle of January!
Our menu is below (the EASIEST chicken you will ever make!) as well as the recipes & links to the ones we used that weren’t our own.
For our menu: we did our favorite whipped goat cheese and toast, this DELICIOUSSSS arugula & quinoa salad, chicken thighs & truffle fries (simple recipes found below!) and chocolate chip cookies for dessert! For our signature cocktail we did French 75s with Empress Gin so we could make them PERIWINKLE. Had to!!
We had the best time and I am full steam ahead planning for February!16
