Our Weekend // Breakfast with Santa

We took the girls to the annual Breakfast with Santa event at my husband’s work this weekend. We were prepping Harper about how nice Santa is & how we should definitely not be afraid of him, hoping we would keep her from bursting into tears like last year. And much to our surprise, it worked!! She was so excited when she saw him, walked right up to take her candy cane & to tell him she wanted a blue Elsa dress & crown for Christmas. It was the cutest thing ever!!

Plaid Dress // Leg Lamp Onesie // Red Headband (no longer available)

Overall, a great Santa experience this year! 😉

The rest of the weekend was low key for us, we did some Christmas shopping, went to a tree lighting (best holiday entertainment for kids ever!) & had our family photos done. I can’t wait to see them & order some Christmas cards! And Eloise discovered the rug tassels & plastic wine glasses on the bar cart, so her weekend was pretty much made. I definitely forgot how much work crawling babies are, although they are pretty darn cute with reindeer booties! Can you even handle those baby toes?!

Hope you all are having a great week so far! XO

Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! They’re so fluffy and refreshing!! And always our girls birthday cake request! It’s too easy: make a white cake (from a box), poke holes in it with a toothpick, make jello according to directions in a saucepan and pour over top, and then put in the fridge for 3-5 hours to cool and set! Frost with whipped cream and serve chilled!!

Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry roo Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry room green and I’m obsessed. Sacrificed just one sweatshirt and my favorite pair of socks because I was way too lazy to change into painting clothes but overall: worth it. Also don’t look too close, 100 year old plaster walls are the opposite of smooth. On the hunt for some fun art next!! Swipe for before and afters 🖤
