Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Thanksgiving week is here & we are sooo excited! Not only for all of the delicious food that we are about to eat, but also for all of the family we will have around our table this year! My out-of-town brothers and their families will all be making their way to our house this year & we can’t wait to have a full house. Also! My oldest brother (two years younger than me) & his wife will be welcoming their first baby into the world any day now, they are literally on their way to the hospital right now!
So much to be thankful for!
I thought I would throw it back to a picture of Harper & Eloise on their first Thanksgivings, both wearing the same dress & bib that miss Claire will be wearing on Thursday. Look at these sweet little BABIES!

We are still finalizing our menu, dessert line up & decorations for the cutest little kids table that I can’t wait to put together! I love trying one new recipe each year, and this year it will be this Candied Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole. I can’t tell if this should be considered a main dish or a dessert, but it looks delicious!!
I love a fun twist on the traditional cranberry sauce, try a cranberry cocktail like this delicious moscow mule, served in a pretty copper mug.

This wishbone bottle opener would make the perfect hostess gift or festive addition to the bar cart.

Stumped on what to wear for Thanksgiving? A comfy sweater or plaid button up are easy to dress up with some sparkly jewelry. Or maybe with these amazing sequin pants, I am dying to wear a pair for the holidays!

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you probably know that cinnamon butter is one of our favorite Thanksgiving dinner garnishes, you can find the recipe here. We love making a double batch, packaging them up in mason jars, and passing them out to friends, neighbors & coworkers.

I love this round-up of the best craft beers for your Thanksgiving dinner.

Share a meal by donating to the fight against hunger, ’tis the season to pay it forward.

And don’t forget to make a Thanksgiving dinner playlist! Ours is ready to go with some Michael Buble, Mumford & Sons, and of course some brand new Adele! 😉
Cheers friends, Happy Thanksgiving Week!! XO

Just wanted to say I love your blog and have been following for a little while now! I work full time and am a mother of two, and sometimes feel "low energy" once I get home, but reading your blog reenergizes me and makes me more motivated to make holidays special for the kids =) Thank you!

Love that all three babies will have worn the same dress and bib for their first Thanksgivings… those will definitely be keepsakes for sure!

Happy Thanksgiving to your sweet family!

I need the new Adele CD! Maybe with the sales this weekend. Love the cranberry cocktail idea. Maybe we will try that for Christmas.
