Our Favorite Mashed Potatoes Recipe

November is all about comfort food! We are teaming up with fairlife today  to share our favorite mashed potato recipe, something we love to make all season long. We love fairlife milk not only because it has more protein and less sugar, but it is so delicious. Which means it also makes the best mashed potatoes! We serve these every year at Thanksgiving dinner, but also love them with meatloaf on a chilly night (my kids favorite!) or in the bottom of a bowl of home made chicken noodle soup.

3lb bag of petite red potatoes
1/3 cup of fairlife whole milk
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of butter
1 tbsp fresh grated parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley

salt & pepper to taste

Wash & cut potatoes, leaving the skin on. Bring a pot of water to boil, add the potatoes & cook until they can be mashed with a fork (10-12 minutes). Remove from heat, drain & add potatoes back into pot.
Add milk, butter, sour cream, salt, pepper & parmesan cheese. Mash with a whisk to combine ingredients, and then blend with a hand mixer on medium speed until whipped.
Top with sprinkle of parsley & a bit more butter! 😉
If you try these, hope you love them!! XO

Sacrificed just one sweatshirt and my favorite pair of socks because I was way too lazy to change into painting clothes but overall: worth it. Also don’t look too close, 100 year old plaster walls are the opposite of smooth. On the hunt for some fun art next!! Swipe for before and afters 🖤
