For the Easter Basket

Easter is almost here which means we are starting to pick up a few things to fill the girls’ Easter baskets! Easter is always such a fun & special day in our house, the girls absolutely love doing their egg hunt & we love getting to host family for brunch after church. I started looking for a few good books, some small things to fill plastic eggs & always something else special for each girl to have in their basket, so I am sharing a few of my favorite finds & things I am loving!

Harper is in need of a new pair of boots for Spring, and I just can’t pass up the bunny ear rain jacket for this extra rainy season we have had, so into the Easter baskets they go!! The rest will be filled with all the fun little surprises like hair bows, bubbles, gel pens, bunny grahams, gum (because my kids are addicted) and probably a never ending supply of stickers. What’s going in your little ones baskets this year?! XO

Have you seen the Moonlite projector from Target? It’s like a viewfinder for your phone. My kids LOVE it! We snuggle in their room, turn out the lights and show the book in the wall! They are getting extra stories in their baskets this year. Along with craft supplies, the Hearth and Hand gardening set and “princess” make up!

We got those headbands too. Do you have any favorite places to get bows and clips? Always looking for new ones! I have been following your blog since you were pregnant with Harper, so happy you are still sharing!

I purchased the Olli Ella picnic basket which is ten times smaller than her old Easter basket, but that’s a good thing because now I won’t go broke buying random stuff to fill it! She loves her Hazel Village dolls/animals and their adorable clothes so we will probably get one animal with a spare outfit. Some play doh filled eggs. Stickers, TONS of stickers! A Remie Girl ruffle dress and a book.

Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! They’re so fluffy and refreshing!! And always our girls birthday cake request! It’s too easy: make a white cake (from a box), poke holes in it with a toothpick, make jello according to directions in a saucepan and pour over top, and then put in the fridge for 3-5 hours to cool and set! Frost with whipped cream and serve chilled!!

Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry roo Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry room green and I’m obsessed. Sacrificed just one sweatshirt and my favorite pair of socks because I was way too lazy to change into painting clothes but overall: worth it. Also don’t look too close, 100 year old plaster walls are the opposite of smooth. On the hunt for some fun art next!! Swipe for before and afters 🖤
