We are so excited to be partnering with SERENA & LILY, one of my long time favorites, as we share our finished lake house bunk room!!! Serena & Lily was a huge inspiration to me as we designed the space so it is a literal dream to work with them on styling the room! We put the finishing touches on the bunk room last week, including some wreaths & ribbons to dress her up for the holidays!!
We did this renovation at the lake house over the summer and added on this bunk room, complete with 8 full size bunkbeds, another guest room, and a full bathroom. I wanted this to be a space where the girls can hang out with their friends & cousins, and large families can all sleep and spread out when they come stay. We’ve already put it to good use as we closed out the summer & fall!
I love using rattan in this space because it has such a coastal vibe, but also reminds me of my grandparent’s house. It’s the perfect blend of style and nostalgia!! And totally warms up the room! I got these SANTA BARBARA PENDANTS and SEADRIFT SIDE TABLE to add touches of rattan at different levels in the room. The color is perfect with the white bunk beds & paneling, but also compliments the wood floors so well!! We also added this RATTAN TABLE LAMP in the entry of the bunk room, I love how oversized and grand they are.
We also wanted to add some fun seating for when the kids are just hanging out, so we grabbed a few of these BEAN BAG CHAIRS! I love the shape & the rope detail on the back.
One of my favorite features on the Serena & Lily website is the availability feature, it allows you to filter by products that are available to ship within 4 weeks.
