Our Weekend

Time seems to just be flying right now. We are already a week into October & I feel like we are running out of weekends in the year already. We made big progress on our Home Depot Style Challenge, any guesses on what we are building? 🙂 My hot handyman hubby is not only killing it at all of our construction projects, but he also took some scraps & built Harper a minature workbench just like his. Cutest thing ever. Now she has a place to play in the garage with him & she loves it. We asked her what color she wanted it to be & of course she said blue. We got her some tools of her own & a play-doh kit, this girl was busy from sun up to sun down.

 

 We got a big bag of honeycrisp apples from a farm stand near our house, so naturally we made all sorts of apple stuff. I am cider obsessed right now. It was cold, like 38 degrees overnight cold, all weekend, so we wore sweaters & hats. And smiles!

 My parents went to Florida to visit my brother & his wife, they are expecting their first baby next month, yay!! So excited to become an aunt again, this will be the first grandson for my parents as well, so they are over the moon! They got back yesterday afternoon & came over for dinner and to watch the girls while we went out for a little date night! We went to a Yacht Themed party at a golf club where we got our drinking & dancing on. I also had a macaroon for the first time in my life. Sheltered, I know. 😉

 And then just like that, it was Monday morning & these two beauties were up at the crack of dawn ready to party.

Sunday Funday is not so fun on Monday.
