Mama + Mini Fall Favorites

Happy Friday! It has been a busy week over here, October is surely the best month of the year! We went to the fair, Harper & Eloise were just tall enough to ride the fun train & teacups, Grandpa won them each a minion & Claire went home with a head full of powdered sugar after I wore her in my wrap while eating a Funnel Cake. Good times! 😉 One of our friends had a birthday costume party so we had a fun excuse to dress up in the middle of the week, and Harper finally had her first soccer game. And after well visits & flu shots this morning, it is safe to say we are all worn out & ready for the weekend!
So in the spirit of the most beautiful cool weather in store for us, I am rounding up a few of my favorite Mama + Mini Fall finds, sweater dresses, cozy socks & our favorite shade of mustard yellow!

Popcorn Sweater // Softest Drapey Long Sleeve Tee // Mustard Scarf // Cozy Socks
Owl Ski Lodge Sweater // Pocket Cable Sweater Dress // Duck Boots // Floral Bow // Blue Sweater Dress
I can not get over those little duck boots with pink laces! And almost everything above is on sale! 🙂
Wishing you all a happy weekend & leaving you with
1. this little gem soaking up some sunshine outside this afternoon, how is she so big already? And looking more like Harper than ever.

 2. this recipe for creamy butternut squash alfredo that we tried this week which can be filed under “meals that take way too long & should never be attempted on a weeknight” but was SO good & I would totally make it again. I went a little heavy on the bacon, because, bacon.

and 3. GO CUBS GOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm loving all your picks! Not gonna lie I was totally hoping that pink sweater dress came in an adult's size :)! Also that alfredo looks delicious, I'm allergic to squash, but butternut squash soup used to be my favorite!

AHHHHH…THOSE DUCK BOOTS! They have a similar pair for boys that I just got my little guy for his lumberjack themed birthday party. I would write a blog post and share it with you here, but his party isn't until December 27, and I am pretty sure that everyone would think I was crazy for planning it this soon.

First of all, it's true! Claire is looking more and more like Harper. Second, I'm with you on meals that take waaaay too long to make during the week. 30 minute meals for eva! Those are perfect for the weekends though. Hope you had a good one!

Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! Did your grandma ever make you a jello poke cake?! They’re so fluffy and refreshing!! And always our girls birthday cake request! It’s too easy: make a white cake (from a box), poke holes in it with a toothpick, make jello according to directions in a saucepan and pour over top, and then put in the fridge for 3-5 hours to cool and set! Frost with whipped cream and serve chilled!!

Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry roo Impulsively painted this little powder/laundry room green and I’m obsessed. Sacrificed just one sweatshirt and my favorite pair of socks because I was way too lazy to change into painting clothes but overall: worth it. Also don’t look too close, 100 year old plaster walls are the opposite of smooth. On the hunt for some fun art next!! Swipe for before and afters 🖤
