We are slowly but surely working on bringing a little bit of Christmas to every room of the house and I promise a holiday home tour is coming, but today I am taking you into the girls rooms to show you a little bit of the holiday cheer in their spaces!
You all know I am super obsessed with the little girls shared room, all of the light & the fun little sunroom make me so so happy. I couldn’t wait to put on their flannel sheets & add garland to the doorway!!
Harper’s room has probably gotten the least amount of attention since we moved into this house. As soon as the holidays are over, we are going to give it some love, she needs a new light fixture & wants to paint the walls purple. Brandon is also going to build her a small desk & I need to find some large art for behind her bed. Decorating it for Christmas definitely made it feel way more cheery, she picked out the Santa sheets a few weeks ago at Target and they’re seriously the cutest thing ever!!
Most of the furniture & stuff in the girls rooms are a few years old or are vintage/thrifted, but for what I could find, here are sources: Twin Spindle Beds // White Fold Out Couch // Grey Star Throw Pillow // Santa Flannel Sheets // Pink Lamp // Pink Letterboard // Mirror Ball
Hope you enjoyed that mini tour & that you feel inspired to add some festive touches to your little ones room! I always loved stringing lights & paper snowflakes in my room as a kid and love that the girls find so much joy in it right now too!! Gift guides for him + her coming up this week, stay tuned! XO
It’s SNOWING in Kansas City & we decided there is no better day to start putting up some Christmas decorations!! The girls were all at school today so we decided to go have lunch at the Plaza & did a little shopping so I could grab a few more holiday items! I fell in LOVE with these vases which inspired my entire mantle, I can’t wait to share it all with you, as long as the sun shines tomorrow & I can snap some pics!!
In the meantime, rounding up ALL of my favorite decor items of the season right here for you!!
one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight
One can never have too many bottle brush trees!!! A few more favorites that I am loving:
The cutest milk & cookies for Santa set.
The best copper twinkle lights, these create all the cozy in your house!!
These super cute mugs because there’s no such thing as having too many.
Found some similar pink mercury glass light up trees, like the ones I got at the end of last season, these are so fun for the mantle!
The best price I’ve ever seen on a wicker tree collar, we love ours!!
A most festive cookbook that is also too pretty not to display in the kitchen.
Alright, I have to know, are you a decorate right away kinda gal or wait until after Thanksgiving decorator?! We are hosting a small family Thanksgiving here this year and I think all the holiday flair will only add to the festive enjoyment!!! Cheers friends!! XO
