Friday Favorites

We couldn’t be happier that the weekend is here, Claire seems to be feeling a little bit better & we are so thankful.

Harper has her very first soccer game this weekend, Brandon is helping coach & we are all so excited! The little kids in their way too big jerseys & socks crack me up, especially when they constantly get tangled in the soccer net. I will be cheering her on from the sidelines while pounding coffee, wearing Claire & attempting to keep Eloise from trying to run onto the field. But Fall weather? I’ll take it!!

And a few Friday Favorites (including pumpkins & sweet sleepy babies), hope you enjoy!

I am in love with every last detail of this home tour.
The new aden + anais clothing line. I love the neon stripe sleepers, they are the softest, cutest things ever.
I loved this article about having patience & finding the right way to respond to situations that could otherwise leave us frustrated. A good read for all moms!

The cutest Halloween leggings & tees from Hen & Co.

And who can resist the dynamic duo, Jimmy & Justin are at it again. A much needed laugh! On that note, have a good Friday, friends! Cheers to the freakin’ weekend! XO

Where is your copper wire basket from? So glad to hear baby Claire is feeling better. As the momma of 4 little's I know it can be rough but remember, these are the best days of your life and you don't even know it, such is a gift of an ordinary day! Happy Fall!!

Great post and I am glad that Claire is feeling better! and a big thank you for sharing that great article! I too need to take a few seconds to pause before responding to those I love around me. It can be very hectic at home sometimes with 2 young children but I must remember to pause and think about my response than regret it later.

I have been reading your blog for ever and ever. I cannot believe that "we" are now three kids deep and they are all so dang adorable. I just feel so… old. I remember the first chalkboards like they were done yesterday! I'm sure it feels even more recent for you and the husband 🙂

Wish it was cooler here in KC but we are loving that Fall is right around the corner and my littles can't get enough of those little pumpkins either! So glad Claire is feeling better. Having sick babies is the worst!

PS- I'm glad Claire is feeling better!! It's such a feeling of "I wish I could be sick and not my kid" and it sucks!

Holy shit girl that article is what I needed this morning. Jack and I were out of town without Elliot and when we got back Elliot was acting up all day for two days. I went off on him over and over and by the second day I realized what I was doing and stopped. He started acting better and I started reacting better. I guess he just missed us! Thank you for that!

I love that article. I'm not a mom but I can definitely apply it to my own life. Work has been crazy these last few weeks and instead of having a bad attitude and complaining to whichever poor coworker is closest, I should take three seconds and play that scenario out. Nothing comes of it instead of keeping me a foul mood for even longer. Thank you for sharing!

Sacrificed just one sweatshirt and my favorite pair of socks because I was way too lazy to change into painting clothes but overall: worth it. Also don’t look too close, 100 year old plaster walls are the opposite of smooth. On the hunt for some fun art next!! Swipe for before and afters 🖤
